YEAR I REQUIREMENTS
Classes Conf-1 Preparation Classes will be held on Mondays or Wednesdays
twice a month from 7-8:15 pm. These meetings will incorporate both catechesis
and fellowship/community building nights.
Teens N’ Topic (TNT) Sundays Each Conf-1 student will need to attend 4 TNT
Meetings throughout the year. TNT Sundays will be offered twice a month through
the year, on the 1st and 3rd sunday of every month, and students can pick any 4
they want to attend.
Conf-1 Events: There will be several events scheduled specifically for
Confirmation students and/or parents.
Christian Service:
Each student will select two service projects, at least three hours long each. One
of the projects completed must be offered through Youth Ministry.
Parents / Candidate Gatherings:
There will be Parents and Candidate gatherings scheduled throughout the year
including an orientation, Stations of The Cross, etc.
Rite of Enrollment:
The Rite of Enrollment is celebrated at the beginning of the program and is held
during the 5 PM Sunday Mass, and involves parents and Confirmation Candidate.
Confirmation Ceremony Service
Each Conf-1 family will need to help during the Confirmation Ceremony either
doing set/up, hospitality, etc.
