Active Christians Today, also known as A.C.T was
initiated back in 1972 with one goal, to help those in
need and has been operating ever since by the
contributions and generous donations from St.
Angela Merici Church Parishioners.
A.C.T. is non-denominational, non-profit Christian
organization, which helps the needy and the
homeless in Brea and our surrounding areas.
A.C.T. is under Social Justice Ministries
The following services are provided on Monday,
Wednesday & Friday: Bread and baked items
distributed, clothing, shoes & households items.
Limited financial assistance with prescriptions, rent
and utility bills, depending on funds available.
Temporary lodging on emergency basis primarily
where children are involved. Yearly distribution of
Christmas baskets in conjunction with (BCEC) Brea
Community Emergency council. Referrals given for
dental, medical and legal assistance.
